Gallagher appoints Mike Parry as partner in its renewable energy team

Gallagher has appointed Mike Parry as a partner in its renewable energy team to focus on offshore wind risks.
In his new role, Parry will be responsible for delivering risk transfer solutions for clients as the offshore wind sector evolves, both in terms of new technology deployment and risk financing maturity using his extensive experience in developing standalone bespoke and flexible facility solutions to solve clients risk financing challenges.
Parry will work closely with executive partner Gavin Tidman and Gallagher’s leading renewables expert, Duncan Gordon, as the firm continues to expand its renewable energy expertise.
The team is part of Gallagher Speciality’s global energy, power and renewables practice which handles upstream, downstream, power and renewable energy risks for firms internationally and employs over 65 risk professionals.
Parry spent 23 years at AON leading the firm’s European energy team and has held senior energy roles at JLT and Marsh serving clients in all sectors of the industry, in particular supporting the development of major offshore installations.
